Annie Lennox - Universal Child (Strictly Come Dancing, 13.11.2010)

I watched Annie perform this on Dancing With The Stars last night

and was so moved by it....The Universal Child....what a powerful

message to send out! So today I am praying for All Children on

our planet, Mother Earth, Gaia, whatever name you choose to call

Our Ancient Mother, that Her babies, Her children, all be treated

with the same priviledges, honor, and respect due them. And if at

all possible in this season of going within our Caves as we mark the

Turning of the Wheel once again, seek out a child who needs a lift in

spirit, perhaps a coat, hat, and mittens to keep them warm through

the winter months, a Yule gift, or some food to eat....it could even be

amongst your own family or extended family. We are all part of this

human family. It does not have to be new, repurpose or recycle those

things hanging in your closets you no longer use...it will make some

Universal Child feel like they matter, and they all do! And even more,

perhaps you could spend some time just talking with them, so their

voice is heard and their heartsong is truly felt by you. I might even go

so far as to say, even adults who never had their inner child honored

could benefit from this compassion and kindness....

Look to your heart and see where it is calling you, please? Many of

us have much to be thankful for, even amidst these times of turmoil

in our world....to blindly ignore our Sisters and Brothers makes us no

better than those who choose to ignore it all.

I wish for you all, a day of being thankful for our many blessings...

In Divine Love!

Hi dear Akasa...this is beautiful...your words too. And yes, if we don't reach out we also become perpetrators..
I was listening to a radio show on FSR the other day...and the hostess said...'if only world leaders would ask what is good for the children and then do it, what a different world it would be."
Imagine.
