Deep Peace...

Deep peace of the running wave to you,
of water flowing, rising and falling,
sometimes advancing, sometimes receding...
May the stream of your life flow unimpeded !

Deep peace of the flowing air to you,
which fans your face on a sultry day,
the air which you breathe deeply, rhythmically,
which imparts to you energy, consciousness, life.
Deep peace of the flowing air to you !

Deep peace of the quiet earth to you,
who, herself unmoving, harbours the movements
and facilitates the life of the ten thousand creatures,
while resting contented, stable, tranquil.

Deep peace of the shining stars to you,
which stay invisible till darkness falls
and discloses their pure and shining presence,
beaming down in compassion on our turning world.

Deep peace of the watching shephards to you,
of unpretentious folk who, watching and waiting,
spend long hours out on the hillside,

On this Eve of Christmas Eve, the one wish I wish
for all of Humanity is Peace...Longlasting Peace and
Goodwill Toward All.  Tomorrow evening as I unwind
from a day spent with family and friends who may
drop in, this is what I will be holding close in my
thoughts and prayers.  I will hold deep peace of the
running wave, the flowing air, the watching shephards,
the Son of Love and Peace.  There is no greater wish
for me.

This has been a hard year for many...and I pray now,
right now in this very moment, the New Year ahead
brings a sweeping change in awareness...in hearts all
over the world, to bring each heart back to itself.

As I embrace and hold dear the many friends or Sisters
and Brothers (as I like to call all of you), I wish for YOU,
Deep Peace.  Having You in my life this year has made
the journey meaningful, joyous, and full of Love.  For
that I am eternally grateful.

Wishing You Peace and Love as we celebrate the true
meaning of Christmas...that of the energy and vibration
of Love !
